Casino hotels and kids can mix, because age limits apply to gaming and certain bars, not to the building as a whole. The differences lie in what there is for children to do — and, in one case, whether they can come in at all. Our picks, best first:

Not for families
Every guest at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa has to be 19 or older, whether they're heading to the casino, a restaurant or a hotel room. At Caesars Windsor, the Augustus Tower is pitched to families and Colosseum shows are all-ages, but kids can't use the pool.
