It is in Gatineau, facing Ottawa across the river: a Hilton with five stars, joined by corridor to Loto-Québec's Casino du Lac-Leamy. It is also the desk's favourite stay anywhere in Canada.

Hilton Lac-Leamy
The desk's favourite place to unwind: a five-star Hilton plugged into Loto-Québec's casino, with indoor and outdoor water kept warm through every January, a 17-room Amerispa, a theatre seating 1,100 and upward of 1,400 machines. Parliament Hill is a ten-minute drive across the river.
