Alberta's two First Nations resorts, scored
River Cree
River Cree — Enoch Cree Nation's resort at Edmonton's western limit — mixes a big Alberta casino with 249 keys, twin hockey rinks, a free shuttle to the mall and Ramsay's first Canadian Hell's Kitchen — and a new tower of 18 storeys is under way.
Grey Eagle
Tsuut'ina Nation's resort sits where Calgary's south-west suburbs run out. Its 178 keys arrived in 2014, the west-facing ones with the Rockies in the window; the 2,500-seat Event Centre books acts worth travelling for; and Little Chief would hold its own outside a casino. The pool, though, stays shut until the 2026–2027 rebuild is done.
