Moncton's casino hotel, opened in 2010, gives you 126 keys from a generous 440 sq. ft., windows that open and a city or mountain view. Add the pool, a concert hall under the same roof, parking at no charge and dogs allowed, and it becomes the Atlantic casino stay to know — Magnetic Hill and the Hopewell Rocks within easy driving.

The Atlantic pick
East of Québec, this is the casino hotel worth a detour. Casino, hotel and entertainment centre were built together and opened together in 2010, and Great Canadian Entertainment manages the lot.
Keys
Size wins. Even the cheapest keys are big — a Deluxe King is 440 sq. ft. at minimum, its two-queen sibling 490. Ceilings are high, the windows actually open, showers are walk-in, sheets are 300-thread-count, and you look over the city or toward the mountain. Suites: the 590 sq. ft. Studio, the 795 sq. ft. Luxury, and on the fifth floor the Marquis, which adds a private balcony and two bathrooms. Booker 19+; children can share the key but are barred from adult zones. Keys 16:00, out 11:00. Room service is paused.
The floor
Live tables: blackjack, I Luv Suits, craps, baccarat, roulette. Card players head for "the Lighthouse", the private poker room, on Thursday to Saturday evenings. Machines got new titles in December 2025 and March 2026. Members of the free Rewards Club pay a little less for the buffet and in the shop.
Kitchens and stage
Just two places to eat, and both are 19+. Hub City Pub sits among the machines. The Buffet runs Wednesday–Saturday; Thursday's theme is Ribs & Wings and Friday's is AA Prime Rib, with a small members' discount. Concerts: the Molson Canadian Centre, on site.
Water, gym, pets
Under-12s must be supervised in pool and gym. Dogs and cats: a pair at most, neither over 50 lb., C$40 per night, and never in the restaurants, pool or gym. Parking is free; at reception you will be asked for the car's plate, make and model.
Day trips
Hotel suggestions: Magnetic Hill (and its zoo), the Capitol Theatre, TreeGO, Tidal Bore Park. Further, but an easy day: the Hopewell Rocks on Fundy's shore.
Desk verdict
Roomy, dog-friendly and with a pool: a clever road-trip stop. Eat in Moncton at least once.
